A toddler has created a massive buzz online for his cricket talent. It might seem unbelievable, but a recently viral video showed a two-year-old boy swinging his willow like a pro player. The moment supposedly unfolded in a local sports meet, though the exact location remains unknown. The clip opens with the kid standing in front of makeshift wickets with a tiny cricket bat in hand. Despite having a huge crowd around him, the boy appeared to be quite confident. He waited for the ball to reach his arc before striking it with his highest power. His stylish shot left the onlookers in awe as they appreciated his efforts with loud cheers. The twist came when two men from the crowd walked into the crease and held the child’s hands to help him complete a run. After the footage was posted on Instagram, viewers were left stunned by the kid’s flair for batting at a tender age. He has kept two people for taking a run,” quipped an individual. “He just wants to hit boundaries, no need for singles,” said another. “Not a fan of cricket, but where can I watch this match?” asked a user. One viewer simply mentioned, “The future of Indian cricket.” The post even attracted a reaction from Swiggy Instamart, which called the kid “Akay Kohli”, the son of batting icon Virat Kohli. Another user claimed the boy would be ready for his IPL debut by 2027. As far as the ongoing IPL is concerned, the tournament has been suspended indefinitely due to the rising tension between India and Pakistan. The remainder of the T20 event may be held at the end of May. The Indian board has made the decision, considering the safety of the players, coaching staff and others associated with the tournament. 16 matches remain this season, including the playoffs.
