Roman Reigns opened the WWE Raw's Monday night episode in Birmingham, England to a thunderous ovation, with the crowd repeatedly breaking into song. Once he spoke, Reigns admitted he was no longer the man he once was. He reminded fans that he had lost his championships, his Bloodline had dissolved, and Paul Heyman had moved on to become the Oracle for Seth Rollins - just as Cody Rhodes predicted. Reigns added that The Vision had taken so much from him that even his shoes ended up around Bronson Reed’s neck.— WWE (@WWE) Heyman then appeared with Reed, recalling that it had been five years since he first stood beside Reigns to begin the Bloodline saga. Expressing love for his former Tribal Chief, Heyman said Reigns now needed tough love, which Reed could provide. Reigns demanded Reed return his shoes and acknowledge him. Instead, Reed mocked him as the 'Tribal Thief', sparking a chaotic brawl that required more than a dozen security guards to separate them.— WWE (@WWE) Dragon Lee defeats JD McDonaghThe opening bout featured Dragon Lee facing JD McDonagh of The Judgment Day, who was escorted to the ring by Finn Balor. In a lively contest, Judgment Day leaned on their numbers advantage to tilt the outcome, but referee Jessika Carr quickly ejected Balor from ringside. The group’s influence diminished further when AJ Styles appeared and drove Dominik Mysterio away, leaving JD McDonagh without backup. Seizing the opportunity, Lee capitalised and connected with Operation Dragon, sealing the win. The sequence not only handed Lee a key victory but also showcased how Judgment Day’s usual tactics unraveled once their allies were removed from the equation.Live EventsKofi Kingston beats PentaAfter battling Xavier Woods last week, Penta squared off against the other half of The New Day, Kofi Kingston. Penta started strong, landing hard chops and forcing Kingston to regroup. During the commercial break, Kingston turned the tide with a back body drop onto the announce table, though Penta rallied once action resumed. The match maintained a brisk pace and proved even more competitive than Penta’s clash with Woods, with Kingston adjusting his high-flying style to match the luchador. In the end, interference from Grayson Waller set up Kingston to connect with Trouble in Paradise for the decisive victory.— WWE (@WWE) Becky Lynch accepts Nikki Bella’s challengeBecky Lynch opened the segment with a promo, targeting Birmingham with sharp remarks before being interrupted by Nikki Bella. The two exchanged heated insults, with Nikki ultimately gaining the upper hand and forcing Lynch to retreat. Though brief and straightforward, the segment served its purpose as a filler ahead of their scheduled clash in Paris on Sunday.— WWE (@WWE) Rhea Ripley defeats Roxanne PerezRoxanne Perez opened aggressively against Rhea Ripley, despite the latter’s clear size advantage. Ripley initially looked caught off guard, but she soon shifted momentum. Perez frequently escaped to ringside for breathers and even used Raquel Rodriguez as a distraction to land a suicide dive. After targeting Ripley’s knee, Perez controlled much of the bout, but Ripley rallied back and secured the victory with her finisher. Post-match, Rodriguez and Perez launched a two-on-one assault until Iyo Sky stormed out to even the odds and chase them off.AJ Styles beats Finn BalorAt Dominik Mysterio’s request, Finn Balor faced AJ Styles in singles action, with Balor opting to compete without Judgment Day’s presence at ringside. The two former Bullet Club leaders quickly showcased their chemistry, trading slick counters and reversals in the opening minutes. The bout felt evenly matched, as both veterans anticipated each other’s strategies and maintained a strong pace. However, the finish came sooner than expected when Styles connected with the Styles Clash for a clean victory. With no interference or controversy, this was a straightforward contest that gave Styles a decisive, momentum-building win over his longtime rival.— WWE (@WWE) Bron Breakker defeats LA KnightThe match unfolded as a competitive back-and-forth, with LA Knight building momentum and looking close to victory. Just as he seemed ready to secure the win, Seth Rollins’ entrance theme hit, drawing the crowd’s attention. The World Heavyweight Champion sprinted to the ring, causing Knight to shift focus and retreat outside in pursuit. That distraction opened the door for Bron Breakker, who intercepted Knight with a devastating spear on the floor. Back inside the ring, Breakker struck again with another spear, leaving Knight down for the three-count. The interference ensured Breakker walked away with the victory.— WWE (@WWE) Jey Uso lays out Punk & Knight in post-match fightAfter the match, Rollins wasn’t finished with Knight, launching a post-match assault with Breakker at his side. Jey Uso rushed in to even the odds, but the numbers game quickly overwhelmed him as well. Just when it looked like The Vision and Breakker would stand tall, CM Punk stormed to the ring and sent them retreating. What followed, however, was far from unity - Punk and Knight exchanged heated words that escalated into shoves. Before matters could spiral further, Uso stepped back in, only this time he dropped both men with superkicks, leaving the Birmingham crowd stunned. The chaotic ending ensured the rivalry between all four men is far from over.(You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel)
