WEDDING bells are in the air for All-Ireland winning Limerick hurler Kevin Downes. Kevin is a senior sales executive with Co-lab packaging, based in Dublin. A teacher by profession, Grace is a model with the Celia Holman-Lee agency. It was Asta Holman-Lee, who runs the agency on behalf of her mother-in-law Celia, who linked up with her ahead of the Limerick Show last year. Celia offered her congratulations, saying: "She is one of the nicest girls to work with. She is fabulous." Na Piarsaigh GAA also offered its congratulations, as did many of Kevin's teammates when the happy couple shared the news on their own social media channels. They are not the only couple with Na Piarsaigh connections to announce plans to tie the knot this month. Former Connacht rugby player Conor Fitzgerald got down on one knee to pop the big question to his love, businesswoman Kylie O'Donoghue. Kylie is the sister of former club captain and ever-present county hurler Will O'Donoghue, with the pair also partners in their Femfuelz vitamin supplement business.
