Lichfield Rugby Club is celebrating a boost for its youth team thanks to a £3,000 donation from Persimmon Homes West Midlands.
The funding will help the club purchase new training equipment, supporting its mission to provide quality coaching and opportunities for young players in the area.
The cheque presentation was attended by Councillor Richard Holland and Lee Perry Technical Director and Elaine Brown, Sales Director from Persimmon Homes West Midlands.
Stuart Phillips, Head Under 13 coach, Lichfield Rugby Club said: "The Lichfield Under 13s rugby team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Persimmon Homes for their generous donation. The contribution will help us develop our skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship, and we're grateful for your investment in our young players' rugby journey and look forward to a successful season."
Lee Perry, Technical Director at Persimmon Homes West Midlands said: "We are proud to support local communities and grassroots sports to help young players reach their full potential.
