Looking to hear all of Scottish football's biggest talking points, but have just two minutes to spare for each? Well you're in luck, as Game On covers another crazy week in the national game - and beyond - in handy bitesize chunks. From a possible £3.5m Kyogo return to Celtic to Vaclav Cerny sparking fury at Parkhead with his over-excitable reaction to Hamza Igamane's late derby winner, we cover all the big moments. This week our opinionated Record Sport duo of Michael Gannon and Fraser Clarke also discuss whether Maik Nawrocki has a future at Celtic, while on the other side of the city, they wonder if UEFA's statement could have any impact on the 49ers takeover at Rangers. Internationally the team look at Scotland's victory against Greece, and discuss the outcry about Lennon Miller's comments. As well as taking a look at what changes Steve Clarke might consider for the second leg at Hampden. Further down the pyramid the crisis at Inverness is under discussion, and Michael explains why he'll be watching from behind the sofa if Rory McIlroy takes a lead into the back nine at the Masters. Game On is available every Friday on YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts. MG : I think he might, I think it's pretty trivial and a bit of nonsense. I actually think that some of the response has been quite funny, a lot of Celtic fans have taken it in good humour. But the reality is players in this environment are warned by police to not get involved with supporters, incite them or rile them up. That's not excusing a reaction, trying to get on the pitch and throwing things. But the provocation was there. By doing that he's provoked the crowd a wee bit. I think that the SFA will say that we can't allow this to be something that's okay. What happens if Celtic goes to Ibrox and score a goal? They soak the place. So I think that there might be a one or two match ban in there. FC : I feel sorry for him because we've all been there as football fans, not as players in that environment, but as fans where our team has scored a last minute goal and you lose the plot. I understand why he did it, and I don't think that there was any malice or thought behind it. But you also know quickly that could've turned really, really ugly. It takes one guy in the stand to lose the plot. There are 60,000 in the stadium, there's going to be one nutter in there. If he happens to be the one squirted with the water bottle and hits Cerny, hits someone in the dugout or someone spills onto the pitch and an innocent party gets injury. Purely from the responsibility point of view I think he probably does have to get a ban. But do I feel sorry for him? I think I do. What I would say though is, can you imagine if he scores against Celtic at Ibrox and does the Gazza dentist's chair celebration? FC : No. They spent £4m on him, had a defensive crisis, they've been in games where they could have rotated, you know that Cameron Carter-Vickers won't play every game and he still couldn'tget a sniff. Nawrocki looks likehe's an alright defender, I'm not sure if he's a good enough football player for what Brendan Rodgers is doing. I When Rodgers doesn't fancy someone then his mind is essentially made up. I think Kyogo is the most extreme example of that, you knew quite early on he wasn't his type of player. He played fairly regularly, scored a decent number of goals. But he phased him out. I don't think he fancies Nawrocki at all. MG : I agree, he's not good enough with the ball at his feet, he can only pass the ball the way he's facing. He's okay in the air, he's strong enough, but I don't even think he played that great against Rangers. He wasn't the worst, but I didn't think he was great. You mention Kyogo, should Celtic be going back and getting him? The model is sell these players for big money and then buy them back for buttons. Apparently he's been bombed our at Rennes. For £3.5m do you go and buy him back? Where else are you going to get a £3.5m player like Kyogo. It's an absolute no-brainer, I think if they got him back for nothing after the deals for Jota and Kieran Tierney I think the fraud squad would be raiding the offices at Celtic Park. FC : It's not going to be the kind of thing that puts them off, not when they've put the amount of effort in that they have. But I think it might spook them a little bit, they are businessmen and this might reflect on their reputation. I think that could be why you saw such a strong reaction. That statement saying "please disassociate yourself with the club immediately" was extremely strong. I thought it was a good statement that laid a marker down. If you are in Rangers support and think that banner represents you then maybe the football club is moving beyond you under the American ownership. MG : I don't know if the 49ers were involved in it, but it felt like the statement was as much for them as it is for the fans. Rangers have a new CEO and a new chairman, maybe it's a new way of thinking. They have gone we're going to stamp on this early, we don't want this kind of nonsense in the stands. I thought it was a good, strong message and to be encouraged. But I don't think that it will affect any takeover stuff. MG : Everyone is now talking about the Masters and it's the one he desperately wants, it's the one missing from his Grand Slam, he's not won a major for 11 years. This is the one he wants the most. He's the best player in the world right now, Scottie Scheffler is having a bit of a wobble. I just would love to see Rory win it. FC : But do you think he will. Do you think he's got the bottle for it? My brother is a big golf fan, I messaged him as soon as we said we'd be talking about this on the show and he just said 'he's a bottler'. MG : We know he's got it in his locker to have a bump on the way home. He's got a lot of scar tissue and a lot at Augusta. If he had a two or three shot lead going up the back nine I'd be watching from behind my coach. As a Rory fan I think that would be too much. I think he needs to have a five or eight shot lead. If he had a good lead I think he'd see it out. Listen to Record Sport's newest podcast, Game On , every Friday for your sporting fix, all in bitesize chunks.
