A 12-year-old boy from Pontiac, Oakland County, has found himself under the grip of the law for the second time in a month after reportedly stealing vehicles—this time three Chevy Silverado trucks and two trailers from a Waterford Township lawn care business last Sunday, as confirmed by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office. The stolen goods, said to be worth approximately $90,000, have been recovered. The young suspect had been previously arrested in June for the theft of seven cars from a different Pontiac business, selling at least one of the vehicles for a mere $30, as reported by Audacy. Following this latest incident, the boy was taken into custody at his home yesterday and made an appearance at Oakland County’s Children's Village before a juvenile court referee. As the situation unfolded, all parties involved presumably grappled with the complexities of juvenile delinquency and the search for corrective pathways.
