Puri: A 4-member team of the Union Environment Ministry has visited Puri of Odisha on Saturday. The team has reviewed for the proposed Sri Jagannath Green Field International Airport in Sipsarubali Mouja of the holy city. Out of the 1164 acres of land required for the airport, 68 acres is forest land. The airport work will start after the approval of the Environment Ministry. Out of this, the acquisition of 221 acres of private land has already started. There is a public meeting in Belpur Mouja next week regarding land acquisition.
