Embarrassing footage of Donald Trump executing a dreadful golf shot has re-emerged, just days after he was spotted engaging in dubious play with his caddie . The U.S. President embarked on a five-day jaunt to Scotland at the end of last week, seemingly spending more time on the golf course than attending to his presidential responsibilities. After touching down on Friday, it's believed that Trump had played three rounds by the time he jetted back to the States on Tuesday. One of the major highlights from his visit, which included meetings with British and Scottish leaders, was the unveiling of a new golf course at his Aberdeen resort - his third in the country. However, footage of Trump apparently cheating on the fairways also sparked considerable chatter. In an astonishing clip thought to have been filmed at his Turnberry course on Saturday, the president can be seen driving up to a bunker in his cart before halting just in front of his caddie, who quite clearly drops a ball in the light rough, just shy of the sand trap. Trump then alights from his cart and approaches the ball, with the clip ending just as he's about to take his swing. Nonetheless, it was one of the most blatant instances of Trump's alleged cheating, and fans were quick to call him out once again, reports the Irish Star . Ironically, earlier footage of Trump hitting a shank resurfaced on the same day, marking one of the president's least flattering moments ever captured on a golf course. The businessmaan was filmed in July 2023, taking a few practice swings before finally hitting the ball on his third attempt - with disastrous results. The shot veered off to the right and into the rough, leading Trump to retreat to his cart in embarrassment. The video, originally posted two years ago by American lawyer Ron Filipkowski, has been viewed over 1.4 million times. It resurfaced recently when it was shared by a former British MP who used it to criticise Trump. Within 24 hours of landing in the UK last week, the U.S. President was also labelled 'Scummy' for breaching etiquette at the Turnberry course, leading some to question his dedication to golf. In another fan-captured video, Trump is seen sinking a putt and then striding off the green with a spring in his step. However, the 79 year old shows no interest in retrieving his ball from the hole and promptly walks away. His caddie starts to follow suit, only to realise that Trump has left his ball behind, forcing him to quickly turn back and retrieve it for the President. Adding to the controversy surrounding Trump's behaviour, his playing partners were still lining up their putts with his ball still in the hole.
