Islamabad, March 27 (QNA) - An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan Thursday, without any human or material losses being reported.
The National Earthquake Monitoring Center in Pakistan announced that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of (198) kilometers.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province is one of the regions that experiences frequent seismic activity due to its geographical location near tectonic junctions.
