India vice-captain Rishabh Pant joined his teammates in the training session at Old Trafford on Monday, hinting at his recovery ahead of the fourth Test against England at Old Trafford. Pant injured his finger while keeping wickets in the first innings of the Lord’s Test and was forced to leave the field. Though he batted in both innings, he was replaced by Dhruv Jurel behind the wickets after picking up the injury. Doubts loomed over his timely return as the fans and experts were curious about his recovery. However, on Monday, he was spotted on the training ground, going through intense keeping drills under the watchful eyes of fielding coach T Dilip.
