Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan has confirmed his relationship with Gauri Spratt, revealing that they’ve been together for over a year. During an informal meet and greet event on Thursday, Aamir, who will turn 60 on Friday, introduced Gauri to the media. “I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her, besides we won’t have to keep hiding. She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night,” Aamir shared, revealing details about their bond. Gauri, originally from Bengaluru, and Aamir had known each other for 25 years but reconnected about a year and a half ago when she visited Mumbai. “We met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically,” said the actor, sharing their story. Aamir, previously married to film producer Reena Dutta and later to director Kiran Rao, expressed how enriching his relationships have been. “I’ve been fortunate to be in a strong relationship. Like, Reena and I spent 16 years together, and then Kiran and I spent 16 years together, and in many ways we are still together. I’ve learnt so much, and it’s been very enriching. With Gauri, I feel settled,” he said. Gauri, who has a six-year-old son, explained that she was looking for someone gentle and intelligent, and she is glad to have found Aamir. “She is now working with my production house,” he added, highlighting her involvement in his professional life. Aamir also spoke humorously about the idea of marriage at 60, saying, “I don’t know at the age of 60, mujhe shaadi shobha deti hai ki nahi.” He also shared that his children are happy with the relationship, adding, “I am very fortunate to have such great relationships with my ex-wives.” Looking ahead, Aamir’s upcoming projects include “Sitaare Zameen Par,” a sequel to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par, slated for release in June. He also produces Lahore 1947, a historical drama directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
