Acclaimed rock band appears to confirm reunion tour, first in 7 years

An acclaimed rock band may have just confirmed rumors of a reunion tour.
Radiohead’s manager donated four tickets to a “Radiohead concert of your choice” to a Los Angeles wildfire relief auction at Palisades High School, according to Resident Advisor. NME reports the auction, which ended Monday, said the highest bidder would be able to choose their preferred city and date “based on the band’s tour schedule.”
The news comes days after the five members of Radiohead stablished a new limited liability partnership under the name RHEUK25 LLP, according to the British Government’s Companies House agency. Fans have speculated that “RHEUK25" stands for“Radiohead Europe and UK 2025" tour dates.
Sources told Resident Advisor that Radiohead plans to hold “a run of residency gigs this autumn” in select European cities. Locations and dates have not been announced; it’s unclear if any U.S. concerts would also be included.
Lead singer Thom Yorke and bandmates Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Philip Selway, and Ed O’Brien previously did similar LLPs before announcing new tour dates or releasing music. LLPs are legal business entities that allow the band to work outside of a typical record label framework, as Radiohead did for its last album, “A Moon Shaped Pool,” in 2016, as well as “The King of Limbs,” “Kid A Mnesia” and 2007’s “In Rainbows.”
Radiohead, which last toured in 2018, gave another clue Friday when it unearthed a rare VHS video of Yorke doing an acoustic performance in 1995. The 25-minute concert video release marked the 30th anniversary of “The Bends,” hinting at an album reissue or celebration tour.
According to Stereogum, Colin Greenwood said in September that Radiohead had been feeling nostalgic lately, having fun playing “the old songs” during rehearsals. In the meantime, Yorke and Jonny Greenwood have kept busy with a side project called The Smile.
Radiohead is a Grammy-winning art rock band known for is experimental, alternative sound on songs like “Creep,” “Fake Plastic Trees,” “Karma Police,” “Paranoid Android,” and “The National Anthem.” The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 and five of their albums have been named among Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
