Air ambulance called to crash on Cambridgeshire A-road

An air ambulance was called to a crash on the A505 in Cambridgeshire on Tuesday (February 25). Two people went to hospital after the crash at Flint Cross, between Duxford and Royston. Three vehicles were involved. An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called just after 4.15pm on Tuesday with reports of a road traffic collision on the A505 at Flint Cross, involving three vehicles. "An ambulance and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. One patient was transported by road to Addenbrooke's Hospital, and one patient made their own way to hospital for further care." A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.13pm yesterday to reports of a three vehicle crash on the A505 southbound at Flint Cross. "The collision blocked the road but there were not thought to be any serious injuries. The road was clear by 7.07pm and the vehicles were recovered."
