Alix Earle Clarifies Exactly What Happened After Bethenny Frankel Says She Stood Her Up for Dinner
@Source: people.com
There's seemingly no bad blood between Alix Earle and Bethenny Frankel. After the 54-year-old Real Housewives of New York alum called out the Hot Mess podcast host, 24, for standing her up for dinner in a TikTok, Earle set the record straight. In a TikTok posted on March 2, Earle explained the entire situation, noting that she "accidentally" missed the dinner after getting the dates mixed up. "The other night was one of the scariest things I've ever felt," she said in the clip, noting that she initially thought their dinner was set up on Saturday instead. "My heart fell into my stomach, and I immediately called Bethenny [when I] realized I messed up... I've never felt worse," she continued. "I've never [stood up] someone in my life. I'm not close with Bethenny and the fact I did that to someone I don't really know... I felt so bad." Frankel first raised eyebrows on March 2 after she posted an in-depth TikTok detailing how Earle and her boyfriend Braxton Berrios stood her up at dinner. The TikTok, which was captioned, "Flying solo in Miami because @Alix Earle stood me up…," included various clips of Frankel eating her meal solo as she reviewed the restaurant she and Earle were supposed to eat at. Following her initial video, Frankel elaborated in another TikTok that she "wanted to take the kids out to dinner" since she's in Miami, but got stood up instead. "I expected them to be a little late because they're kids," she continued. "She calls me... and she's like 'Hi, is it tonight?' and she's freaking and panicking." Frankel noted that she ended up staying and enjoying the dinner by herself because "that's what a grown-up does." After Frankel's TikToks about Earle went viral, the influencer reached out to her privately to rearrange another time to meet, which they eventually documented on social media. Frankel later shared a TikTok of Earle holding a bouquet of roses to make up for the mistake. Meanwhile, Earle posted a TikTok with the caption, "1 hr into Girls night out," which showed Frankel picking up pieces of a broken vase, joking, "I tried to take her for a nice night out... I can't take her anywhere."
