The Red Hands cut loose with an irresistible display of attacking football that cut through their opponents time and again, 14 players in total getting on the score-sheet for the home side.
Once Ruairi McCullagh finished to the net from an Eoin McElholm pass as early as the third minute, it was clear this was to be a long night for Fermanagh.
Conan Devlin banged in a second goal six minutes later, and the Red Hands led by 2-5 to 0-1.
Ben Warnock registered Fermanagh’s second score, but the procession to their goal continued, with Conor O’Neil, McElholm, Noah Grimes and Liam Og Mossey hitting the target.
It was Mossey who palmed home the Red Hands’ second goal just before half-time, to send them in with a commanding 3-11 to 0-4 interval lead.
Fiachra Nelis smashed in a fourth goal five minutes into the second half, and they kept the scoreboard ticking with a string of neat Noah Grimes points. Substitutes Darragh Donaghy and Eoin Donaghy also chipped in with points, and it was the former who hit the net for the home side’s fifth goal six minutes from the end.
Full back Ben Hughes and goalkeeper Conor McAneney also got on the score-sheet, with O’Brien on target from a free at the other end.
At Dunsilly, Donegal had little trouble in seeing off Antrim, finishing comfortable winners by 3-23 to 0-2.
Finn Coll set the visitors on their way with an early goal and they never looked back.
Monaghan and Cavan finished level at 1-10 to 0-13 in a thriller at Inniskeen, thanks to a late Max McGinnity equaliser for the home side.
Lorcan Reilly landed a brilliant two-pointer to give Cavan the edge, but a couple of Mian Mulligan scores helped Monaghan settle, and after Bobby McCaul, and Tom Doherty added points, they went through for a goal, finished to the net by McCaul.
The Farney lads led by 1-8 to 0-6 at the interval, but Cavan rallied strongly, and went ahead late on through Lorcan Reilly.
But Monaghan fought back to create the opening for McGinnity to shoot over a late leveller.
Derry were too strong for Armagh at the Athletic Grounds, running out 2-24 to 0-13 winners.
The Oak Leafers took control early on, with Jude Bryson, Johnny McGuckin, Eamon Young and Oisin Doherty all picking off points.
Young slotted home their first goal, and it was plain sailing after that, as he added a second after the break, with Ger Dillon picking off some tidy scores.
