Legendary West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell has announced his retirement from international cricket. The 37-year-old cricketer from Jamaica, who has played one Test, 56 ODIs, and 84 T20Is for the West Indies team since making his debut against Sri Lanka at Galle on November 15, 2010, will step away from the international circuit after playing in the first two T20Is of the upcoming five-match series between Australia and the West Indies.
The opening two matches of the upcoming bilateral series are set to be played at Russell’s home ground—Sabina Park in Kingston, Jamaica—on July 20 and 22.
