Pop sensation Anne-Marie has announced she is pregnant with her second child. The 2002 hitmaker, 33, took to social media today (Wednesday, 19 February) with an adorable video that showed her dancing and lip-syncing to her latest single Don't Panic, which dropped just last week.
The video showcases her chilling at home on the stairs, engaging with her tune through dance moves and playful gestures. In the video, Anne-Marie could be seen cradling what appeared to be a growing baby bump while she bops along in comfy attire — an oversized grey sweater paired with white track pants.
As the recording draws to a close, she lovingly rests her hands on her belly, mouthing the refrain, "Please don't panic." And adding an element of delight to the reveal, she captioned her post with a simple yet exciting: "Surprise."
Following the exciting announcement, fans were overjoyed for the chart-topping artist, who is also mum to one year old daughter Seven with her partner, rapper Slowthai, real name Tyron Frampton. Celebrations had only recently quietened down from Seven's first birthday bash when Anne-Marie decided to drop this joyous bombshell, reports the Mirror.
Adoring reactions have flooded in, with well-wishers expressing their excitement and surprise. Flooded by comments, one fan gushed: "Omg my jaw dropped. SO HAPPY FOR U." Another praised: "Queen of hiding pregnancies. Congratulations."
Someone else chimed in with heartfelt emojis: "Omg! ! ! ! ! Congratulations." And another joined the chorus of congratulations, marveling at the announcement: "Amazing news. Massive congratulations."
Just days after throwing a fabulous first birthday bash for her eldest child Seven, Anne-Marie took to Instagram on Monday to share her joy, writing: "Our baby is 1! ! A year with the most beautiful soul. I hope you have loved your life so far. Our precious little book worm, you are so clever and funny. We can't wait to spend the rest of our lives with you."
In December, reflecting on the past year, Anne-Marie opened up to her fans about the challenges and joys of 2024 in an emotional Instagram post, saying: "2024 the most beautiful yet hardest year of our lives. God really tryina see how strong I am hahaha. I miss you all and I love you all more than you'll ever know. I have SO MUCH for you in the new year that you'll probably be sick of me (please don't be) have the best break if you can and see you soon."
