Tom Cruise is well known for his impressive stunts but Ben Affleck has declared the Mission Impossible star has ‘nothing’ on him.
The Gone Girl actor, 52, caused a stir after he split from wife Jennifer Lopez in April — then was seen cuddled up to his first wife, Jennifer Garner.
The former couple have not offered any comment on rumours of a rekindled romance but Ben did give his thoughts on a different actor.
While chatting about his new film The Accountant 2, he joked about Tom and the 62-year-old actor’s penchant for doing his own stunts.
He was on stage at the Paramount Theatre after the premiere of the new movie and told the crowd he spent ‘months and months’ training to line dance.
‘It was a stunt for me,’ Ben told the crowd, according to Variety. ‘Tom Cruise has nothing on me.’

He added as a caveat that this was only ‘in terms of line dancing’ — there’s no skydiving off buildings in Ben’s new film.
Tom is known for daredevil stunts such as hanging off buildings and jumping out of planes.
While Ben has had plenty of experience with stunts, playing Batman in the DC Universe, he’s steered clear of adrenaline junkie moments in The Accountant 2.
‘There was a nude scene but we cut it. He practiced line dancing in front of the mirror,’ shared director Gavin O’Connor.

In high spirits, the Good Will Hunting actor laughed and quipped: ‘It was a choice! I liked it!’
The Accountant 2 is a follow up to 2016’s blockbuster starring Ben as Christian Wolff, who fudges the finances for various illegal companies.
In the sequel, ‘an old acquaintance is murdered, leaving behind a cryptic message to “find the accountant”.’
The synopsis reads: ‘Realizing more extreme measures are necessary, Wolff recruits his estranged and highly lethal brother Brax (Jon Bernthal) to help. In partnership with U.S. Treasury Deputy Director Marybeth Medina (Cynthia Addai-Robinson), they uncover a deadly conspiracy, becoming targets of a ruthless network of killers who will stop at nothing to keep their secrets buried.’
Ben’s best friend Matt Damon, 54, is also involved in the film as a co-producer through their company Artists Equity.

The duo have been friends since Ben was 8 and Matt was 10 when they lived a few doors down from each other near Boston, Massachusetts.
They attended the SXSW premiere for The Accountant 2 together, which came after The Martian star was announced as Odysseus in Christopher Nolan’s next film.
Matt sported a long beard in a jarring departure from his usual clean-cut look in preparation for the highly anticipated Greek epic.
