SUPERMARKET shoppers have spotted Jellycat dupes on the shelves of a major retailer. Discount buyers could save nearly £50 when opting for the cheaper plush toy. Morrisons has introduced the new range of children's toys from just £2.50. For a fraction of the original cost, eagle-eyed bargain hunters could nab one of the sports themed toys. Parents might be pleased to find the unbeatable price which also keeps kids entertained during the Easter break. The Jellycat Amuseables Sports Basketball normally retails for £45. For just £3, Morrisons shoppers could nab any one of the sports balls including footballs, rugby balls and basketballs. There are also Plush Soft Bouncy Balls available in the same style for 50p less. With the range yet to be advertised on the website, interested buyers should head to their local store to see if they can nab the toys. It is always best to phone ahead to avoid disappointment due to stock levels. Amy Crowther, Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: “Our Jellycat dupes offer unbelievable savings for our customers, meanwhile our Ollie & Grace wooden toy range has been so popular with our littlest of shoppers, we’re excited to be extending it to include brand new items and Easter themed products. "Our latest range is available just in time for the upcoming Easter break and is perfect for keeping children entertained, whilst developing their creativity and curiosity – hopefully in the garden on a sunny day.” It follows Lidl's successful Jellycat dupe range for Valentine's Day. For just £2.99, fans of the 'softest stuffed toys' could nab the supermarket dupe's broccoli, donut, pretzel or strawberry. Each one boasted a name and fun facts. The cute range of food-shaped toys offered a budget friendly alternative to Jellycat products. As a big brand name, the prices for the latest Valentines collection started from £15 and ran up to £45. Meanwhile, Tesco's shoppers went wild for a similar plush toy that was £20 cheaper than the original. The soft toys were launched in stores as part of a gifting range ahead of February 14. They come at £4 each - a fraction of the price of the Jellycat originals, which can go up to £55. Numerous different characters are available. These include a French Fancy character saying "I fancy you’, a Strawberry with "You’re berry sweet" and a Sandwich with "You’re my jam". Shoppers have flocked to TikTok to praise the cute plushies.
