Later this month, Lisa will finally release her debut solo full-length, titled Alter Ego. The set, which is expected to drop on February 28, has now produced four singles throughout the past half-year or so. All of them have enjoyed some kind of life on charts around the world, but her latest has become her biggest smash on her own in the U.K.
“Born Again” debuts at No. 13 on this week’s Official Singles chart. That marks the highest placement for Lisa throughout her solo career on the U.K.’s list of the most-consumed songs throughout the nation.
Helping Lisa to that newly found peak are featured artists Raye and Doja Cat. Both are credited on “Born Again,” and the collaborative affair soars toward the highest reaches of the ranking thanks to the combined popularity of all three artists.
Before this week, Lisa’s highest-rising hit in the U.K. was “Money." In 2021, that tune peaked at No. 46, and at the time, it was a historic showing for the K-pop favorite.
Of the four singles that have been pushed from Alter Ego, three have reached the U.K.’s main ranking of the most popular songs in the country. Lead cut “Rockstar” debuted at No. 49 and disappeared just days later. A month following that success, “New Woman” with Rosalía launched and peaked at No. 55.
So far, only “Moonlit Floor” failed to crack the 100-spot list of the most successful songs in the U.K. The tune did become a smash on a number of sales tallies, but it didn’t perform well enough to rank among the biggest smashes in the U.K.

This week, “Born Again” performs even better when looking at pure purchases. The collaborative tune launches at No. 5 on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts. The same track is a hit on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music as well. “Born Again” opens at No. 25 on the Official Streaming chart, and while that’s the lowest position that title reaches across any of the U.K.-based tallies, it's still the top 40 placement, which makes it a certified hit, if only for a short time.
