@Source: hoodline.com
The Boulder City Police Department has posted an appeal to the public on social media asking for assistance in identifying a person of interest in relation to an attempted arson incident. The individual, captured on camera sporting checkered pajama pants and a hoodie, was last seen near the old Airport Hangar at 1401 Madrone Street last Monday, around 9:00 p.m., according to the Boulder City Police Department's social media post. The same post encourages residents living nearby to review footage from their home security systems for potential evidence, and share with police any video of the individual in question, the person was seen possibly heading towards the Boulder Creek Golf Course, and the police department has provided the number 702.293.9224 for anyone with useful information to come forward. In a comment beneath the Boulder City Police Department's post, Alicia Davis noted, "This person I believe is a woman and I saw them walking from that area to Main Street last weekend, I saw them walking by veterans park and then again later near town," suggesting that more footage could be available from security cameras along the route. Another commenter on the Boulder City Police Department's post, Cynthia Jolson, added, "She is the homeless lady. I saw her coming from the end of Colorado street," although admitting to not knowing her name, this testimony may offer another piece to the puzzle as authorities work to ascertain the individual's connection to the attempted arson. No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are asking the community to help identify the person seen on camera during the incident, urging anyone with information to come forward to help solve the case.
