Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill has announced his resignation after four years at the helm, during which he played a key role in revitalizing the country’s tourism sector following the COVID-19 pandemic.
Hill was a strong advocate for Fijian culture, sustainability, and inclusivity ensuring that the growth of the tourism industry also created opportunities for MSMEs, artisans, and local communities.
He believed in sharing the real Fiji with the world, and through impactful campaigns such as ‘Where Happiness Comes Naturally’, Hill and his team did just that with warmth, authenticity, and respect.
The Fijian Government has extended its deep gratitude for Hill’s contributions, acknowledging his role in elevating Fiji’s image globally. They also wished him and his family the very best as they return to Australia.
Tourism Fiji has yet to announce its successor.
