Brit Awards viewers were left baffled as a 'horse' was sat next to EastEnders star Danny Dyer during the live event on ITV1. The British music industry's biggest night kicked off after 8.15pm on Saturday evening (March 1) at London's famed O2 Arena, with the ceremony live on ITV1 and ITVX. Yet viewers at home were left confused when they saw a woman with a horse mask sitting next to actor Danny Dyer. She appeared multiple times during the show on ITV1, with many viewers taking to social media to point out the odd artist. One fan said: "Is that a horse next to Danny Dyer?" while another said: "Why was there a horse at the Brits?! Who even was that?!" A third said: "Who the hell is that with the horse face?" One viewer quipped: "It’s highly likely Danny Dyer bringing a horse to the Brit Awards won’t even make the top five of weirdest things to happen tonight #BRITs2025 ". The mystery person is a German DJ and singer HorsegiirL who hides her identity behind a horse head mask. The singer and songwriter appeared at the Brit Awards with a striking red dress for the special occassion. Her 2023 single My Barn My Rules was a huge hit after the track became a popular sound on TikTok. Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall is hosting extravaganza for the fifth time and made numerous jabs at KSI, Coldplay and Kayne West. The evening commenced with a humorous Squid Game-style introduction that featured TV personalities Richard Madeley and Sam Thompson. Sabrina Carpenter set the tone for the show with her track Espresso, surrounded by backing dancers in The King's Guard regalia. The staging was amplified by a Union Jack backdrop, and Sabrina donned a King's Guard uniform herself. But it was her second number that really set tongues wagging as she took to a heart-shaped bed in a revealing costume to perform Bed Chem, complete with daring dance routines and racy movements. Jack lauded Sabrina Carpenter's risque performance, exclaiming, "What a way to start the show!" He then quipped about his return to ITV, saying, "Yes, I'm back! ITV had so many of its presenters cancel this year they had to come crawling back to an ex." You can watch the BRIT Awards on ITV and ITVX
