CLEVELAND, Ohio — Earlier this month Browns owner, Jimmy Haslam, accepted blame for the Deshaun Watson decision, calling it a swing and a miss. With the 2025 NFL Draft a little over a week away, Haslam and the Browns have the No. 2 pick behind the Tennessee Titans who are expected to pick quarterback Cam Ward at No. 1. The Browns will likely choose between two Colorado players for the No. 2 pick — quarterback Shedeur Sanders or Travis Hunter who played both ways in college as a receiver and a cornerback. The Browns are playing it close to the vest, but the consensus seems to be they are leaning towards taking Hunter at No. 2 and selecting a QB later in the draft. Either way it’s hard to imagine the Browns swinging and missing again with all the choices available this year.
