Bryan Mbeumo makes feelings clear on Man United £70m transfer agreement
@Source: manchestereveningnews.co.uk
Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo has reacted to reports that an agreement was reached over a £70million move from Brentford. Ruben Amorim's side finally found a breakthrough in their negotiations with their Premier League rivals after a battle to find a middle ground. United will pay £65m up front and pay a further £5m in add-ons , a third bid launched from the Old Trafford club following two rebuffed approaches from Keith Edwards' side. Mbeumo is set to join Matheus Cunha through the door in the North West as part of the Portuguese tactician's ambition to guide the club back towards the top end of the table. The MEN reported that the club were hoping a deal could be struck in time to ensure that the Cameroon international is on the plane for their pre-season tour in America. Fabrizio Romano shared the news to social media and his post on Instagram caught the eye. He wrote: "HERE WE GO! Man United agreed £70m deal to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. "Green light from Brentford and club to club agreement reached for £70m package, as @theathleticfc reports. Contract agreed weeks ago with Mbeumo as he only wanted Manchester United move, deal now sealed. After Cunha, Mbeumo next for Manchester United." The post received over 1.1million likes, at the time of writing, and among them was Mbeumo, who will now undergo a medical over his blockbuster move to the 20-time Premier League champions. Fellow summer signing Cunha also offered support, as did international teammate Andre Onana. The shot-stopper will be a familiar face in the dressing room but the 29-year-old will miss the tour of the United States after picking up an injury during the first week of pre-season.
