The Masters was a whirlwind experience not just for patrons and players, but also for CBS reporter Amanda Balionis. With a front-row seat to the historic playoff between Justin Rose and Rory McIlroy, Amanda had her work cut out for her.As soon as McIlroy claimed the title, she sprang into action, rushing to her on-course duties to interview both golfers. But that was just the beginning.Throughout the tournament, the 38-year-old reporter was on her toes, conducting interviews and participating in special panels like "We Need to Talk" from April 2 to April 13.One of her works that caught most eyes was her interview with an emotional McIlroy in his green jacket, which went viral, and since then, she's been going non-stop.Balionis' Instagram post gave a glimpse into her grueling schedule, where she posted a picture of her and Rory, captioning it, "What a week and a battle down to the very end."But her struggle to get back on track did not end here. She was spotted interviewing the 2025 RBC Heritage champion Justin Thomas alongside his wife and daughter. The reporter's disrupted work-life balance was clearly visible when she posted on her Instagram story, "Back to it – consistency not perfection," with a picture in the gym on April 22nd."Certainly wasn't perfect with my 10k a day last week, doesn't mean anything for this week," she added.Interestingly, Thursday she was also back to doing what she loves the most. As her Instagram bio says: "There is very little that sports, ☕ & dogs 🐶 can't fix."Balionis was spotted spending time with Rory - a Hound Mix dog at the Puppies and Golf shelter house.Amanda knew what she was doing and posted on her Instagram story, "Breaking News: Rory has caught the golf bug."Currently, the CBS reporter is in New Orleans at the Zurich Classic 2025, where Rory McIlroy, with his partner Shane Lowry, are battling to defend the title.More Golf: Why Augusta National Kicked Masters Fans Out, Turned 'Into a Bloodbath
