CELTIC return to Premiership action when they take on Hearts at Parkhead. But they'll have to face the Jambos without their no1 Kasper Schmeichel after the keeper picked up an injury on international duty. His shoulder injury against Portugal in the Nations League left him in HOSPITAL with his arm in a sling. But Brendan Rodgers has given Hoops fans some good news as he confirmed the keeper DOES NOT need an operation. Speaking to BBC Sportsound, he said: "Well nothing's changed from what I said 24 hours ago. "There's no change. We'll find out on Monday more but what we know is he doesn't need an operation. "A bit of chronic pain in there that he's had and scars from over many, many years playing. "But we'll see what comes from out scan on Monday and whether it's two weeks, two months, we don't know. "So we'll know more next week." It is a chance for backup goalie Viljami Sinisalo to step up and take his place in the starting eleven. The Finnish international was brought in as an understudy to Schmeichel and has only ONE appearance for the Hoops. It came during their 5-0 rout over Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup back in February. But Rodgers is confident the 23-year-old can make his mark for the club. He added: "Well obviously we've signed Vil(jami Sinisalo) because he's got a great future and great potential. "Of course he was in to learn off of Kasper (Schmeichel) and invest in that time in his development. "And of course Kasper's played most of the season but I've seen enough of Vil over the course of preseason. "The game had here even though he didn't have a lot to do, his concentration was good. "And now is a chance for him to come in and you never know, any player wether it's a goalkeeper or an outfield player until they go in. "So I'm really looking forward to seeing him play, he's showed up very well in training but of course playing in front of the stands when they're full is totally different. "But he's got a great mentality and a real good goalkeeper so it's a good opportunity for him." Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page
