Irish rugby player Cian Healy has posted a heartfelt tribute to his teammates and colleagues on the national squad.
Cian announced that he was set to retire from playing international rugby after this year's Six Nations, and while the tournament ended in heartbreak for Ireland, Cian still had an amazing time representing his country.
He posted a tribute to Irish rugby on his Instagram, along with a series of throwback snaps, including some with rugby legends Brian O'Driscoll and Paul O'Connell, who have now also retired.
"It's been a great journey with [Irish Rugby] from cap 1 right to 137. So many special people and memories along the way! Time to kick on now with "Leinster Rugby] for what's sure to be an exciting finish to the season," Cian said on Instagram.
Fans and friends alike took to Instagram to wish the retired pro well.
Fellow Irish rugby player Conor Murray, who retired alongside Cian, commented two hearts underneath the post to show his support.
Rugby player turned TV presenter Tommy Bowe also commented some heart emojis, while Jessica O'Mahony, influencer and wife of rugby star Peter O'Mahony, commented hearts and crying emojis.
Bundee Aki also showed support, as did Jamie Heaslip, who simply called Cian "the goat" (greatest of all time).
"We will miss those low dives across the try line. You've been immense for Ireland and Leinster. What a career, now enjoy more time at home crafting knives and training up two future Ireland front rowers," said a fan.
"Thanks for giving it all over the years. Will miss watching you play - enjoy the next chapter," said another.
"Forever a legend. Thanks Cian," added another.
"Thank you for so much joy, grit and confidence we've felt watching you take on other world bests. It won't be the same without you," another commenter said.
"Thanks for all the memories. Best of luck with all your new ventures," added another well-wisher.
"Go well Church. We will miss you in green and thanks for all the years and memories."
