Former India men's cricket captain Sourav Ganguly's brother, Snehasish Ganguly, and his wife Arpita, narrowly escaped tragedy while they were enjoying a speedboat ride in the Puri sea.The incident happened near Hotel Sonar Bangla when the Snehashish and Arpita, along with other tourists, were enjoying a speedboat ride on Sunday evening, triggering panic among onlookers and raising serious concerns about safety standards in water sports activities.According to onlookers, the speedboat reportedly lost balance due to a sudden large wave during the ride. The boat overturned in the turbulent waters, but due to the swift response of lifeguards present at the scene, all four tourists, including Sourav Ganguly's brother and sister-in-law, were rescued unharmed.After the incident, Arpita Gangulyr released a video message in which she said, "We were saved by the grace of God. I am still in trauma. This should not happen, and water sports in the sea must be properly regulated.
