Coronation Street fans thinks Lou Michaelis could be a redeemable character as her arrival alongside her husband Mick continues to ruffles feathers. The couple are part of a new family for the ITV soap who are set to shake-up the Street, with them described as 'nightmare neighbours' who are willing to make life hell for anyone who dares to cross them. Lou, played by Farrel Hegarty, was the first time seen on-screen in early February and she didn't make her entrance quietly as she was seen giving Aadi Alahan grief over a purchase in the shop. She was also seen immediately sparking up a friendship with Gemma Winter-Brown, with their connection quickly uncovered. The pair ended up recognising each other from Bessie Street School, where Gemma’s quads and Lou’s two young daughters attend, before sharing a drink in the Rovers Return. Mick, played by Joe Layton, then made his appearance a few days later as they moved into their new home, with Corrie having extended the serial drama across the ginnel for the first time, and it was soon confirmed he was the van driver that had been following Chesney Brown for months. Last week, Corrie fans quickly turned on Mick due to his interaction with a grieving Daisy Midgeley. As fans know, Daisy was involved in the hit David Platt had ordered on his own life to get the insurance money and pay back gangster Harvey Gaskell who was targeting his family. She was injured in the accident and sadly lost her unborn baby, who was revealed to be DC Kit Green's. In shocking scenes, Mick behaved inappropriately with Daisy after he took a little flirting too far. Despite repeated attempts to see him gone, Mick wouldn't leave the Rovers before Daniel Osbourne arrived. He then showed up the following morning and continued to poke at Daisy, who was quick to let Lou know what her husband had been up to - before Mick turned the tables and blamed Daisy, leaving Lou to lash out until Jenny Connor confirmed Daisy's version of events. It was then during Monday night's (March 17) trip to Weatherfield that Mick and Lou got on the wrong side of Daisy once again. Earlier on, Daniel suggested to Daisy that they could organise a memorial for the baby she had lost. Daisy wasn't sure at first but ended up listing to Daniel's suggestion that having a memorial for the baby could help her grieve and come to terms with her loss. He suggested she tell Kit, who wasn't keen on going along, leaving Daisy and Daniel and Jenny gathering in the Rovers' backyard, where they lit candles and placed down tiny teddies to remember Daisy's unborn child. But things soon became chaotic as while Daisy opened up to Daniel, their new neighbours Mick and Lou blundered in from the ginnel and mocked as they believed they had walked in on alone time between the couple, leaving Daisy fuming. She kicked them out but Corrie fans couldn't help but notice that Lou had seemingly spotted Daisy's memorial and helped push her partner away. @sarahlawson84 said: "Mick the dick really is beyond redemption isn’t he.
