Danny Jones and Maura Higgins appeared to share a "drunken" kiss at the BRIT Awards afterparty. The married McFly star , 38, seemed to lock lips with his former I'm A Celebrity campmate Maura Higgins, 34, at Universal Music's star-studded afterparty on Saturday night (March 1). Footage from The Sun appears to show the pair sharing a brief smooch by a curtain at the party, at 180 Studios on the Strang in London. Onlookers claimed the pair were cosying up to one another for hours before the alleged kiss. They were later spotted at Sony Music's afterparty and stayed until the early hours, believed to be around 4am. The alleged kiss has sparked outrage from Danny's fans, given that he's been married to his model wife Georgia Horsley since 2014 - the pair share son Cooper. Georgia hasn't addressed the 'kiss' but did speak about a trip to visit Danny during his time in the jungle on the latest episode of her podcast - she didn't mention his name. The video, believed to have been taken just before 3am, appears to show Maura and Danny standing next to one another in a foyer before their faces get very close on more than one occasion. At one point in the footage it seems like the pair lean in for a brief kiss by the curtains as they engage in conversation. According to The Sun , a source claimed: "Danny and Maura seemed to be having a great time. They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss. Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle. They were talking and laughing for ages." It is not known if the apparent "kiss" the ITV co-stars shared at the party was romantic. It's said Danny and Maura "seemed really cosy" at the afterparty and were spending a lot of time together before the alleged kiss. According to the Mirror , they spent most of the night together and were also joined by their fellow I'm A Celeb star Oti Mabuse and another female friend. "Maura and Danny were sitting in the booth together for most of the night, they were laughing and chatting and seemed really cosy for hours," the outlet said. "Some other people gathered around the table to chat but they didn't really move from that spot and weren't dancing much, they were clearly comfortable. Danny occasionally walked the room with Tom Fletcher, but he kept coming back to Maura." The pair sat on different tables for the BRITs ceremony, which was held at London's O2 Arena, but they reportedly shared a table at Universal's afterparty. Danny was with his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher the bash before Maura walked over. It's claimed the pair spent 90 minutes together, and that the rocker seemed to be giving Maura advice. MailOnline claimed Maura, who recently split from Pete Wicks, laid her head on Danny's shoulder, and that he put his arm around her shoulder. It's said the pair left the venue as part of a larger group, including Danny's bandmate Tom Fletcher. Maura was later seen heading home alone in a taxi. Celebrity body language expert Inbaal Honigman has weighed in on the alleged kiss and believes the kiss is "meaningless" for Danny or Maura. She reckons the smooch isn't "romantic". Speaking on behalf of Casino.org , she told Daily Star: "Danny and Maura's kisses wouldn't really register as notable for either of them. Whether drunk or sober, the kisses appear meaningless from a romantic standpoint. "Danny stands in a confident position during the brief moment when we see them kissing - he's got his hands in his pockets in a chilled-out, secure stance, with his feet a little way apart. This is the pose of a man enjoying the adoration of a fan, not a loverboy trying to ravish a lady. He's not even leaning towards her. He's not reaching out to hold her. "Maura's hands never embrace him - she appears to peck him on the cheek initially, snowing affection like kissing a younger cousin. She then leans in for another kiss, and Danny turns his head sideways, more receptive to this peck. Their lips meet, but they're still not touching with the rest of their bodies, not hugging, not leaning on each other; there's nothing sensual between them. They do appear to be locking lips, but the fact that their arms, legs, and torsos do not meet suggests that there is less to that kiss than meets the eye. "In fact, from the little we can see in the dark, Maura's head recoils from the kiss, as if they bumped into each other. Her head bounces back after kissing Danny, which is odd. The recoiling tells us that Maura's face wasn't sticking around for another kiss." Daily Star has contacted representatives for Danny and Maura for comment.
