Despite commissions Ghana’s first World-Class Automobile Museum in Accra

Renowned business mogul, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, has made history by unveiling Ghana’s first world-class automobile museum, the third of its kind on the African continent.
The museum, situated in East Legon, Accra, was officially commissioned on Sunday, June 1, 2025, by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in a grand ceremony that brought together royalty, statesmen, business elites, and celebrities.
The exclusive, strictly by invitation event saw the presence of prominent personalities including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, former MP Kennedy Agyapong, entrepreneur Nana Kwame Bediako ( Cheddar) and businessman Ibrahim Mahama.
Members of the East Legon Executive Club and other distinguished guests also graced the occasion.
Designed for car lovers, history enthusiasts, families, and groups, the museum offers an unforgettable journey through automotive history and innovation.
The carefully curated space showcases a collection of some of the world’s most iconic automobiles,each with a unique legacy and a story to tell, bridging the past and future of motoring excellence.
Dr. Osei Kwame Despite’s latest venture is not only a celebration of engineering marvels but also a bold step toward positioning Ghana as a hub for cultural and automotive tourism.
