The museum, situated in East Legon, Accra, was officially commissioned on Sunday, June 1, 2025, by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in a grand ceremony that brought together royalty, statesmen, business elites, and celebrities. The exclusive, strictly by invitation event saw the presence of prominent personalities including former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NDC Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chief of Staff Julius Debrah, former MP Kennedy Agyapong, entrepreneur Nana Kwame Bediako ( Cheddar) and businessman Ibrahim Mahama. Members of the East Legon Executive Club and other distinguished guests also graced the occasion.
