There could be more to Harry Mitchell's bond with EastEnders newcomer Asad on the BBC soap, amid a murder twist. Something about scenes involving the pair on Monday night left fans convinced they could be hiding something huge - and it could have led to Shireen going missing. Shireen is the missing girlfriend of Harry, and she vanished four years ago. Her brother Asad has been looking for her ever since, desperate to find out what happened to her. All he knows is Harry and Shireen had a blazing row and after she left she was never seen again. New evidence suggested she was followed by some men, leading to Asad accusing Harry's dad Teddy Mitchell of being her killer. What he didn't know though was that Harry's mother Nicola knew the dark truth. Asides a murder confession though, fans were convinced there was more going on than what had been revealed. As Harry and Asad caught up after losing touch, it was clear they were very close. Harry told him he missed him with the feeling mutual, as they talked of how they used to hang out back in the day. There was a look between them though that left fans convinced there were some potential romantic feelings, with fans suggesting they had "chemistry". Viewers quickly predicted that Harry and Asad may have been more than friends, and that perhaps Shireen found out. The new theory is that Harry and Asad may have been a thing or at least wanted to be, and that this led to Harry's row with Shireen before she went missing. With us now knowing Nicola caused Shireen's death, according to her confession, might she have tried to stop her from exposing Harry and Asad's affair? One viewer posted on social media: "I feel that Shireen knew something about Harry & Asad and it led to what’s happened next." Another viewer commented: "That look Harry gave Asad?" as a third posted: "What’s this then between Harry and Asad?" A fourth viewer said online: "Am I seeing that there was something with Harry and Shireen's brother?" The comments kept on coming with one reading: "That look. I wonder if there was something between Harry and Shireen’s brother?" Another guessed: "Harry and Asad are going to have an affair and then Shireen will turn up alive." In the same episode we saw Nicola meet with Benji. She soon claimed that years earlier she made Benji do a job for her that was now under threat. It soon became very clear that said job was the murder of missing Shireen. Nicola said that no one could ever find out that she "killed that girl". So Nicola ordered a hit on Shireen it seems with Benji carrying out the sickening crime, before hiding her body at a disused industrial estate. Confirming the location of her body, he told Nicola where she could be found with Nicola hoping no one would ever "dig her up".
