Exciting IPL match between DC and SRH on the cards in Visakhapatnam on March 30

The city of destiny is all set to host the second Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), at Dr YSR ACA VDCA Stadium on March 30. The match is going to start at 3.30 p.m.
Cricket lovers from Visakhapatnam region are expecting a thrilling encounter filled with high-energy cricket. SRH, renowned for its formidable batting lineup and penchant for high-scoring games, is set to bring its game. On the other hand, DC has sent a strong message with its impressive performance, chasing down a mammoth 200-plus target against the Lucknow Super Giants just last weekend. With both teams showcasing their strengths, fans are anticipating an electrifying contest.
Besides, this is for the first time, team SRH will be playing in Visakhapatnam. Fans have been eagerly waiting to watch their favourite stars like Pat Cummins, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, Henrich Klassen and Mohammed Shami. Moreover, this is going to be the first match for local boy Nitish Kumar Reddy, who may expect good reception during the match from Vizagites.
Team SRH which has already arrived in Visakhapatnam on Friday (March 28) took part in a practice session along with DC on Saturday. The newly renovated stadium is being decked with massive flexis and posters of players from Delhi Capitals. Senior police personnel were seen briefing about the security arrangements to be taken during the match.
“I am very excited to watch the match. With SRH, it is definitely going to be a high scoring game. Moreover, DC has also a good batting lineup, which we have seen in their previous game on Monday. They will have an addition of KL Rahul in Sunday’s match and I am very eagerly waiting to watch him bat,” N. Rupesh, a resident of Gajuwaka, said.
K. Sai Sireesh, another cricket lover shares: “We do not know whom to support. DC has made Vizag its homeground, while SRH is a team from one of the Telugu States. We would love if eventually turn out to be a good contest.”
Traffic restrictions and diversions will come into effect from the morning, since the match is scheduled to began at 3.30 p.m. and the toss will be held at 3 p.m.
As per the officials from the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), the tickets have been sold like hotcakes. Under the supervision of Commissioner of Police Shankhabrata Bagchi, the Madhurawada region has been brought under complete security blanket.
