Goodrich 14, Corunna 0: Goodrich had the bats rolling Wednesday night as Goodrich defeated Corunna in Flint Metro League play.
Cross Darby went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs, Thomas Niles had two doubles, Brady Baszler had a 2-RBI double, and Zaiden Hall had a double in the win.
Niles tossed two scoreless innings with three strikeouts while Hall finished the job with three scoreless innings and four strikeouts.
Goodrich improves to 4-1 while Corunna drops to 1-4.

Flint Kearsley 6, Owosso 0: Kearsley earned the shutout win Wednesday night as Maggie Martinez and Bella Talaski each scored twice in the win.
Abby Wilson and Mia Granado netted the other two scores while Rose Olesen earned the shutout win in net.
Kearsley improves to 2-3 while Owosso drops to 3-5.
Holly 1, Linden 0: Holly earned its first win against Linden in over 10 years as Abbie Hill netted the only goal in the matchup.
Grace Kubiak made eight saves in net for the Bronchos, which advanced to 6-0 for the first time in program history.
Linden falls to 1-3-1 on the season.

Lake Fenton 11, New Lothrop 3: A triple by Avery Heil got things going in game one for Lake Fenton, and the Blue Devils’ offense wouldn’t let up from there.
Parker Beardsley launched a two-run home run while Lydia Slater added a 2-RBI single in the bottom of the third inning.
Heil tallied two doubles and a triple, Slater added a single and a double with three RBIs, Laureena Baehl had a single and a double, Maddie Stanton added two hits, and Mia Merrell tallied three stolen bases.
Stanton earned the win on the mound with nine strikeouts.
Lake Fenton 13, New Lothrop 2: Laureena Baehl led the way in game two as she tallied a single, home run, and five RBIs to lead Lake Fenton’s offense.
Avery Stanton added three hits and an RBI while Lydia Slater launched a home run, Parker Beardsley had a double and two singles, and Mia Merrell had two singles in the win.
Leah Meyers took the win on the mound with five strikeouts.
Ortonville Brandon 20, Flint Kearsley 5 & Flint Kearsley 22, Ortonville Brandon 9
Ortonville Brandon and Flint Kearsley split the doubleheader Wednesday night as both offenses had their chance to shine.
Kylie Miron led the way for Kearsley with six hits while Addison Yelle added five. Emma Yelle, Lilly Weidman, and London Struck-Curtis all tallied four hits, Morgan Cronkright had three, and Emma McCormick one in the series.
Brandon was led by Maddie Schuett in game one, who launched her first home run of the season and tallied three RBIs.
