The top Iranian diplomat held the conversations on Friday as Israel continues to starve the population in Gaza by restricting food and water to the territory, causing growing international outrage.
Araqchi and Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, underscored the imperative of bolstering bilateral cooperation across regional and international spheres. They emphasized the importance of sustained diplomatic dialogue and multilateral engagement to address the ongoing crises. Both officials voiced deep concern over the acute shortages of water, food, and medicine in Gaza, urging the mobilization of international resources to halt Israel’s genocidal actions in the besieged territory.
Similarly, Iranian and Iraqi foreign ministers called upon Islamic and Arab nations to intensify efforts to lift the blockade on Gaza. Araqchi and Fuad Hussein strongly condemned the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime, and demanded accountability.
Iran’s foreign minister and his Qatari counterpart, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, urged the international community, along with Islamic and Arab countries, to undertake concrete measures to support Gaza’s vulnerable population. They called for an end to restrictions on the delivery of vital supplies, including food and medicine, and urged an immediate halt to the ongoing genocide.
Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Al-Nafti and Iran’s Araqchi called for consultation and cooperation among Islamic and Arab countries to expedite humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza. Both officials emphasized the urgent need to prevent the massacre of innocent Palestinians through starvation and deprivation
