The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has assured that it is committed to transparency, inclusivity and sustainable football development after its 31st Ordinary Session of Congress.The Ghana FA held its Congress successfully on Tuesday at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, where various key decisions were taken.In a statement from the FA on Wednesday, it expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their support, stressing that they are keen on building on the outcome of the congress to move Ghana football forward.We wish to sincerely thank the Honourable Minister of Sports and Recreation and distinguished Congressmen and Congresswomen for their active participation, insightful contributions and unwavering commitment to the governance, growth and development of our game. Your presence and engagement underscored the shared vision we all hold for the progress of the sport in our dear country.Our deep appreciation also goes to the various stakeholders, Regional Football Associations Chairmen, clubs, coaches, referees, administrators, sponsors, past executives, GFA Staff and partners – whose dedication, collaboration and constructive input continue to strengthen our football ecosystem.The GFA reiterates its commitment to transparency, inclusivity and sustainable football development. Together, with your continued support, we will build on the outcomes of this Congress to elevate Ghana football to greater heights, the association said in its statement.In its statement, the GFA also commended the media fraternity for their professionalism and extensive coverage before, during and after the Congress, adding that it believes the medias role in informing, educating and engaging the public remains invaluable to the promotion and visibility of the beautiful game.
