Talk about growing apart. Aaron Goodwin, the paranormal investigator known for his work on the reality TV series Ghost Adventures, has filed for divorce from his wife, Victoria Goodwin, after she was arrested for allegedly plotting to have him killed. Aaron, 48, filed a complaint for divorce Wednesday in Clark County, Nev., according to court records viewed by Entertainment Weekly. Aaron asserts that the "views, tastes, likes and dislikes" of him and his estranged wife "have become incompatible to the extent that it has become impossible for them to live together...in marital harmony," and there is "no possibility of reconciliation," per court documents obtained by Us Weekly, which first reported the news. A talent agent for the Ghost Adventures star declined to comment to EW on Thursday. Aaron's attorney didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. Victoria, 32, was arrested March 6 on charges of solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder, according to Clark County inmate records. She was held on $100,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 25. Florida police said that corrections officers in the state found messages between Victoria and a prison inmate discussing a plot to have her husband killed, according to an arrest report obtained by TMZ, which first reported news of the arrest. She allegedly set aside more than $11,000 to pay for the crime and provided information about where and when Aaron would be filming Ghost Adventures in California. Police said Victoria denied wanting Aaron dead and plotting to kill him, per TMZ. (EW has reached out to Las Vegas police for comment.) Aaron is best known as an original and ongoing member of the Ghost Adventures team. The paranormal investigation series created and led by Zak Bagans premiered on the Travel Channel in 2008 and is currently airing its 26th season, on Discovery+. (Reps for the series didn't immediately respond to EW's request for comment.) Bagans and the team travel to purportedly haunted locations around the world, where they attempt to capture evidence of spiritual activity. Aaron acts as both a camera operator and an on-camera investigator and has been present for celebrity-led investigations with the likes of Loretta Lynn, Post Malone, and Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil. He has also worked as a camera operator on feature films and series, including the Bagans projects Deadly Possessions and Ghost Adventures: Aftershocks. Aaron and Victoria wed in 2022, an occasion he marked on Instagram. "It finally happened," he wrote, "we got married. After postponing many times due to Covid we got our day. I couldn't be happier." He most recently posted about her on Feb. 14, sharing a photo of her playing miniature golf and writing, "My valentine always beats me at mini golf." Victoria's most recent Instagram post, dated Feb. 27, pictures her legs intertwined with Aaron's, their cat napping in between, and the caption: "Cuddle puddle with my boys."
