Google CEO Sundar Pichai Reacts After RR's Vaibhav Suryavanshi Creates History In IPL 2025

Vaibhav Suryavanshi created history and etched his name in the record books by becoming the youngest debutant in IPL's history. Aged 14 years and 23 days, Vaibhav made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the league stage game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He also became the youngest to hit a six and a four in IPL. Vaibhav's IPL debut left many stunned, including Sundar Pichai. The Google CEO took to X to share his reaction to his debut and wrote: "Woke up to watch an 8th grader play in the IPL!!!! What a debut!" Vaibhav made a memorable IPL debut and hit the first ball he faced for a six. The left-handed batsman smashed 34 off just 20 balls. His knock included 3 sixes and 2 fours. Vaibhav, who joined RR for Rs 1.10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega-auction, could retain his place even when a fit-again Sanju Samson makes his return in the playing XI. RR have 2 wins from 8 matches and are reeling at the 8th spot. They have the same number of wins as last-placed Chennai Super Kings.
