A Greater Manchester road was closed following a crash involving a bus and a mobility scooter this afternoon (Friday, March 14). Emergency services were called to Oldham Road, Rochdale , following reports of the collision. The road was closed for a short time with Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Services spotted at the scene. The Bee Network has confirmed that the incident involved a collision between a bus and a pedestrian on a mobility scooter. Pictures and videos of the scene have been shared on social media showing a single decker bus behind the cordon with officers securing the area. Other images have also shown the mobility scooter slightly wedged onto the front the bus following the crash. Greater Manchester Police say that they were called to the scene at around 7.25pm. No arrests have been made and no injuries have been reported. The road has since been reopened.
