The Men in Blue lifted the mega event for the third time under Rohit Sharma's captaincy. Hardik was at his best with both bat and ball in the tournament and played a key role in the triumph. The star all-rounder took four wickets in the tournament for India and scored 100 runs, including game-changing cameos in the semi-final and final. Taking to Instagram, Hardik reflected on the victory and stated it as a memory that is close to his heart. Hardik's Lone Effort Not Enough For Mumbai Indians Hardik is currently leading the Mumbai Indians in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL), where the five-time champions have got off to a nightmare start with four defeats in five matches. The 31-year-old has been in fine form with bat and bowl, with 81 runs in four innings at a strike-rate of 168.25 and 10 wickets. He is currently the league's joint second-highest wicket-taker. Hardik has led MI in 18 games in his IPL career and registered just five victories. The star all-rounder took charge of the team in the 2024 season after a trade deal from the Gujarat Titans and controversially replaced Rohit Sharna.
