Two teams that had high expectations heading into the 2025 Major League Soccer season looking to grab some more points on Saturday afternoon as Atlanta United visits FC Cincinnati. With getting bigger names like Miguel Almiron and Emmanuel Latte Lath, they were expected to pace the Eastern Conference. However, things have not gone swimmingly for the Five Stripes. Though they won their season opener against CF Montreal, Atlanta has followed that up with losses to Charlotte FC and Inter Miami, picking up a draw with the New York Red Bulls a couple of weeks ago. Cincinnati has had a more fruitful beginning to their campaign. Despite getting eliminated from the CONCACAF Champions Cup last week, Cincy has split their first four games, beating the Red Bulls and Toronto FC, though they lost to the Philadelphia Union and Charlotte as well. Yet, both of their defeats have come on the road.
