How To Win At Home In IPL 2025? Simon Doull Tells RCB 'Just Change Dressing Rooms'
@Source: news18.com
Former New Zealand cricketer Simon Doull has said that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru should take all their things from their dressing room at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and move to the other one, and maybe that might change their luck at their home ground, where they have lost both their games.
Delhi Capitals handed Bengaluru a six-wicket loss, extending their unwanted record to an embarrassing 45 defeats at their home ground, the most by any franchise at a single venue in Indian Premier League history.
In the aftermath of Bengaluru’s latest home stumble, Doull offered a rather unusual yet interesting solution to their crisis at home.
“I think they should take all the signage down from the dressing room and move it in the other one. Just change the dressing rooms! Go away from the home dressing room, jump into the opposition one, when the opposition turns up, they’re like, ‘hang on a minute, it’s the other one,” Doull said while speaking on Cricbuzz.

“Little things. It might just be a change of scenery. It sounds so silly, but if anyone can do it, it’s one of these franchises. Just pull off the signage down and try,” Doull said.
On Thursday, the wizardry of Kuldeep Yadav and Vipraj Nigam helped the Delhi Capitals stage a stirring comeback to restrict Bengaluru to a below-par 163/7.
Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep (2/17) and leg spinner Nigam (2/18) adjusted their lengths to halt Bengaluru after the Capitals opted to bowl first.
But Delhi’s decision to field looked obtuse as Royal Challengers went off the blocks like a galloping horse, going past the 50-run mark in just three overs.
Central to that charge was opener Phil Salt’s turbo-charged innings of 37 off 17 balls. The England batter hammered Mitchell Starc for a sequence of 6, 4, 4, 4, 6 to collect 24 runs in the third over.
RCB play their next match against the Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, April 13 in Jaipur.
