A former Irish League star is set to strut his stuff in the high-profile Baller League for Wembley Rangers - managed by Ian Wright and Chloe Kelly.
The worlds of football and social media influencers are coming together for the thrilling new six-a-side tournament with the first UK season taking place at the Copper Box Arena in London.
Wright and Kelly are joined by other major names from the world of football to manage the 12 teams including John Terry; Alan Shearer, Micah Richards and Gary Lineker; Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg; and Luis Figo.
The action, which will be broadcast on Sky Sports, gets underway this Monday night and looks set to be action packed given the format in the games.
They play 15 minute halves but there's a huge twist in the final three minutes of each half, the teams are reduced to three players per side. Goalkeepers are also not allowed to use their hands, while long-range goals count as double.
Each team has 12 players to choose from, which they selected in the Baller League draft.
There will be a familiar face for Irish League fans as Navid Nasseri has been selected for the Wembley Rangers side, which he confirmed on his Instagram page.
The 28-year-old Manchester native spent three years in the Irish Premiership playing for Glentoran, Linfield and Larne.
Nasseri won the Irish Cup with the Glens in his first season in Northern Ireland, but the day after the cup triumph it was announced he would be joining their Big Two rivals.
Nasseri would only spend one season at Windsor Park but he left as a league winner with the Blues before moving to Inver Park as part of a swap deal with Marty Donnelly.
Again the forward would only spend one season with the Invermen before he returned to England initially with Macclesfield before going on to play for Stalybridge Celtic in the Northern Premier League.
