CRISTIANO RONALDO hit out at a “disrespectful” journalist as he demanded: “Look me in the eye.”
The veteran forward, 40, appeared to be feeling the heat ahead of Portugal’s crunch Nations League clash against Denmark.
A place in the semi-finals is at stake when the sides collide in Lisbon tonight.
But Ronaldo's Portugal are already up against it after losing the first leg in Copenhagen 1-0.
Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund came off the bench to net a late winner.
And he toasted the moment by copying Ronaldo’s famous ‘Siu’ celebration.
It was about as close to a goal as CR7 could get, with Ronaldo failing to have a single shot in the entire game.
He also touched the ball just 30 times, less than any other outfield player.
But Ronaldo saw red when a Portuguese journalist asked him whether he was still capable of performing at the top level.
The Al-Nassr star barked: “I feel like there’s a lot of negativity around the national team.

“I’ve watched some of the press conferences over the last few days — I didn’t like what I saw, I don’t like it.
“And honestly, some of the questions you’ve asked were just disrespectful.
“If you want answers from me, look me in the eyes when you ask.
“There’s no point asking me something and then looking down at your computer.
“You’ll have time for that later. If necessary, I will say it ten times.”
Ronaldo went on to admit that Portugal need to deliver tonight and has called on fans to become their 12th man.
Ronaldo added: “The air is more tense. I won’t hide it. We are in a more tense moment because we need to win but that’s the beauty of football.
“I appeal to the fans to be with us. To transmit their strength to us, because we are going to try our best.
“That is my hope, that it will be a beautiful day for everyone.”
