Tony McNamara (69) shows age is no barrier with record-breaking goal
What Tony McNamara has achieved on the soccer pitch deserves to be publicised, especially as the 69-year-old has no interest in quitting yet.
McNamara has featured in over 1,000 games (the bulk of which came with Mungret Regional FC while he also helped Regional United climb from Division 2B to the Premier Division) in a career spanning six decades that has also seen him play and score in every division of the Limerick District League.
