ITV This Morning fans worried star has been 'secretly' axed after missing show

Concerns have been rising among fans of This Morning as a familiar face has seemingly disappeared from the show without any public announcement. The Easter holiday period has seen various changes in the presenting team, with usual presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard being temporarily replaced by guest hosts.
This has meant viewers have seen Dermot O'Leary with Sian Welby taking to the sofa, before Alison Hammond returned to her regular Friday spot alongside Dermot.
However, the latest episode introduced yet another twist. Alison informed viewers: "Josie and Andi Peters will be keeping you company on Easter Monday."
Dermot also added: "All the latest gossip from the Celebrity Big Brother house, Will Best joins them in the studio."
Social media was quickly buzzing, not so much about the Easter Monday lineup, but about the absence of a particular host. Fans took to Twitter to voice their questions about this unexpected change.
One Twitter user queried: "Andi on Monday? Have they secretly got rid of Craig?" Another tweet read: "Wonder what's happened to Craig."
The subject of viewers' speculations, Craig Doyle, usually stands in as presenter alongside Josie Gibson. His sudden disappearance from his usual spot on the show has led many to speculate that he may have been quietly dropped from the presenting team.
Since joining the ranks of This Morning in 2021, Craig has contributed to various parts of the program, initially featuring in competition segments, eventually stepping up to co-host with the show's regular faces such as Alison Hammond, Holly Willoughby, and Rochelle Humes.
Beyond his role on This Morning, Craig is a renowned TV and radio presenter with a career spanning sports reporting for RTE and hosting major events for the BBC and ITV, including Rugby Union coverage and quiz shows like The Colour of Money.
He also gained recognition from many due to his time presenting Everest Windows adverts.
Away from the limelight, Craig enjoys a peaceful life in County Wicklow with his wife Doon, whom he frequently mentions affectionately on air. The couple share their home with their four children: Elsa, Milo, Muireann, and Quinn.
While Craig has a public-facing job, Doon prefers to remain out of the spotlight. She previously worked as an interior designer before choosing to concentrate on raising their family.
Neither ITV nor Craig himself have officially commented on his current status on the show, leaving loyal fans hopeful that his absence is merely temporary.
