MITO, Japan -- Regular flights between Japan's Ibaraki Airport and South Korea are set to resume next month thanks to fans of the prefecture's golf scene and food offerings, ending a six-year hiatus brought on by a diplomatic chill.
Service between Ibaraki, situated north of Tokyo, and Cheongju Airport will be operated by South Korean low-cost carrier Aero K.
