KILDARE HAVE TASTED Joe McDonagh Cup glory and booked a spot in next year’s Leinster senior hurling championship after a powerful second-half display saw off Laois this afternoon.

Brian Dowling’s side were level at half-time 0-11 apiece before they conceded an early second-half goal with Ben Conroy netting for Laois.
But Kildare took over from there with Jack Travers and Jack Sheridan both raising green flags.
