Kilkenny gardaí were drawn to an eye-catching situation in the city centre on Sunday. What people forget is that your front and side windows have a tint already so if you tint them further, you run into trouble. One of our lads ran the tint meter on one of our Tucson patrol cars and it showed that 79% of light us being allowed through so it for instance could not legally be tinted much more. "Back to the stop, the driver has been instructed to remedy the defects forthwith with a reinspection in his diary. If this is not done, a day in court beckons," they continued.
